It’s National Blog Posting Month again. Yippiee!
Hopefully I’ll stick with it this time.
My English is still horrific, but my enthusiasm will hopefully make up for it!!!
The chosen theme for January is: “Change”, and I can’t think of a more perfect theme
For the first month, of a brand new year; a year hopefully still unmarked and unblemished by wrong choices. (Although, some people might have screwed things up minutes after the big countdown!!!) If you’re in Vegas, I believe you could find yourself married to a complete (although, sexy) stranger when you wake up!
OK. Change. What does it mean to you and me?
It means opening yourself up to new ideas. A praradigm shift in your thinking.
Who is the clever guy that said: You must be the change you want to see in this world?
What I want to change this year?
I want to stop spending every breathing minute doing damage control. After moving house five times in three years, I’ve still got boxes papers and documents and stuff packed away. And in October, we had a fire in our house (only one room destroyed, thank God!), but during the cleaning and renovating period all kinds of small things were thrown in boxes!
And I have to work through each and every one to salvage what is important and to chuck away the rest.
My motto for today: Be pro-active.
God only gave me enough energy to last for this one day. Tomorrow He’ll supply me again with what I need.
Therefore, I’ll spend this day’s energy on making my world a better place, today!
Sterkte vir die jaar en mag 2009 ‘n bakgat jaar wees vir jou.

Sounds like a very good way to tackle any day.
